Benefits of UV Cast:

Easy removal

UV Cast can be easily removed by cutting through the individual fibers, eliminating the need for an oscillating saw and ensuring a simple and painless removal process.

Easy application

UV Cast’s sleeve form allows for effortless and rapid application. With three available sizes, the dressing can be easily fitted to the limb’s shape without requiring doctor adjustments. The color-coded marking indicates the size and highlights thumb placement.

X-ray transparency

UV Cast allows for excellent penetration of X-rays, allowing medical professionals to assess the condition of the affected bone without removing the dressing.

Ventilation

The openwork structure of both layers of the dressing allows for excellent airflow, enhancing patient comfort and protecting the skin from maceration.

Hypoallergenic

The under-gypsum pad that comes in contact with the skin is made of certified yarns, ensuring a hypoallergenic and skin-friendly experience for patients.

Hydrophobic

The immobilization layer is 100% waterproof, while the under-gypsum layer is made of synthetic yarns with hydrophobic properties, facilitating quick drying.

Controlled time

With the use of a UV lamp, doctors have the flexibility to choose the ideal time for curing the dressing, ensuring accurate and effective immobilization.

Lightweight

UV Cast is significantly lighter than traditional plaster casts, providing enhanced comfort and reducing the strain on the patient’s limb.
